On occasion I borrow a friend's 8032 mini and when it gets to operating temp the control (switch) that changes the control stick between house swing and boom swing function won't work. Does anyone have some insight into this issue- past experiences, schematics, WAGs, etc.? Where is the solenoid located?

not too familiar with jcb's, but it sounds to me like a sticking solenoid for sure. I would think it would be on the control valve somewhere, just a matter of finding out which one. may have to check the solenoids one at a time while hitting the switch, which may be time consuming, but if you ain't got a book, sounds like the only choice
