Hey guys and girls, i’m a new memeber and appreciate any help you can give me with my digger It’s a jcb js130 2006 with 9000 hours Machine has done pretty much light work it’s hole life (digging foot paths, site clean ups and loading trucks for the bulk of it) Serviced regularly and on time As of recent the machine is lacking power while loading up to dig on warmer days and drops rpm dramticly nearly stalling It’s fine during the winter and will maybe only start to play up towards the end of the work day. Still very capable of lifting Heavy objects, tracking up step hills and lifting the tracks of the ground as High as you want even with the arm all the way out. What iv done: Replace all engine and hyd filters (bar two) Engine service Turbo inspection Engine tappet adjustment New hydraulic oil The two hydulic filters that have never been done iv attach photos of (used to be my father machine and been told he never changed them) Also a link to a video of the machine performing with the problem. Sorry if that was a blast of info to take in but hope I can get some help.
It sure doesn't "sound like" a fuel issue.. but there was no mention of fuel filters.. & the rpms respond immediately when load is reduced.. not a characteristic of fuel problems.. More like a hydo problem. Sorry but no help here.. Any smoke when this happens?
Yes fuel filters done also A little bit of a black smoke happens It’s almost like it’s isolated just to when pulling in the dipper arm, you can put the bucket next to a pile of soil and slew to push it side ways and will happily do it with out bogging down the engine
Have you cleaned the little banjo filters on the fuel system either bottom of injection/lift pump screwed into the banjo bolt itself sometimes these are also in the sediment trap banjo but go for pump first. Your problem also could be a regulator playing up on the hyd pump need to make sure the fuel system is good and clean. the 2 filters you not changed are the nefron filter and the small the servo which you should change every 1000hrs and 2000hr on the big nefron . Does the hyd pump make any cavitating noises and when you changed the main hyd filter in the tank was there any brass gold colored particals present. All else fails should put some gauges on the hyd also do negative control pressure test.
HI, was just wondering if you ever found out what was causing your hydraulic issues and if so, what was the remedy as I seem to have the same issue on a 2004 JS130!
Good day Has the machine made many hours as the fuel system may need attention -injectors - fuel pump act. Same question what are the emissions like white - black ect. ? Suggest you focus on the engine hydraulics are not self adjusting. Kind regards Uffex
bring the stick in and bottom it out does it stall the machine try at idle and full rpm
Was there a solution to this? I have a link belt behaving the same exact way.
