JCB testing

it is probably already known to members, but decided to share for people who still don’t know: I came up with an idea how to check pump and sections on JCB mini ex. With Nachi three sections pump - you need to eliminate the pressure maintaining block mess where all three flows combine and affect each other! Remove and plug/cap all three branches that go to pressure maintenance manifold, now you can only operate cable controlled sections, you have tracks for each piston section and dozer for gear section! Start operating those and see which one is weak! The only thing is all your pressure reading ports is eliminated now, so if you want to read the pressures you gonna have to plumb the gauges in to branch outs you just plugged that go to pressure maintenance manifold. After you pinpointed which pump/section is weak - disconnect pump from MCV section, plumb in needle valve to pump with other end going directly to tank, and pressure test the pump alone with needle valve.
