JD 120C Track sag

Looking for a little help, just put new chains on a JD120C and not sure how much sag there should be for proper track adjustment. Thanks Gary

    Gary you should have between 9 7/8 to 11 inches of sag .If working on pavement 9 7/8 .If in mud around 11 . General purpose 10 1/4. Thanks ED

    Thanks Ed. That seems like a lot of sag. I measure it between top roller and idler and have 2 to 3 inches. Where are you measuring it at? Thanks Gary.

    nope most excavators the measure on the bottom in the center pick it up off the ground.

    Cat also use the top measurement, not sure what size the 120 is but if its about 20,000kg you could be a little tighter, think 1-11/2in is good.
