I have a high hour jd 160 lc that has slow hydraulics on all functions on the right control valve. The machine has had a new pump put on it in the last 50 hrs. A mechanic suggested that the housing is likely cracked but have it out and not finding any. It controls right track, bucket, boom 1 valve and arm 2 valve. All of which are affected..
Good day Speed is down to flow I suggest you lift each leg and time the sprocket rotation before moving on to restrictions of some description, be sure that the pump has been adjusted correctly if the issue existed prior to pump renewal it is likely that the issue is within the M.C.V. Sounds like you have no load sense going to the front pump.At the right lower rear of the control valve there is the front pump control valve.Put a suction on the hydraulic tank and pop that jasper out of there and have a look.What was the reason for replacing the old pump?
