Just bought this fixer upper not running and the FWD/NEU/REV lever on the dash is frozen. Is this common ? It sat about a year. I don't wanna yank too hard and break it, can I remove the metal floor panel and spray it to loosen ?
Inspect the linkage for seizure/debris.
