cfelton ยท 2024-10-08 10:49

I pinched a wire while working and it stopped. Now it shows the lap bar and seat belt and will not move. I have unplugged the seat and lap bar and still the same. I'm getting 12 volts from the battery and at the wires going to ecm. Any help is much appreciated

Machine serial number? What wire was pinched? Are you testing the "ECU" for voltage, or the SDM (monitor)? The operator's presence system is controlled by the SDM. If the seat belt and lap bar lights are not going out, you need to determine if the voltage from those switches are getting to the SDM.

It pinched the wire on one of the solenoid on the bottom of the bucket and arm control block.

If you scroll through the monitor to codes, are there any active or stored codes?

Did you think to check your fuse panel for a snapped fuse?

One young fellow worked a whole day and a half on Detroit DD15 powered truck to find out before he was going to replace computer that 10 amp ATO fuse that feeds computer was loose. Always check simple and free things first before the big bucks start rolling. Simon C
