JD 320E hydraulic lose

Daved256 ยท 2023-04-26 09:08

Hello, new here. I have a JD 320e serial number it0320ebhej259081. Machine runs fine but all of a sudden I lose all working functions of the arms and bucket. On occasion bumping the machine around they will work again. Then minutes later out again. Safety release allows full function. AGPro claims the hydraulic control valve housing is failing but had no other explanation. However hydraulic shop says it's good. Solenoid issue? Anybody have this before? Any info appreciated.

Welcome to HEF Daved256 ! When the hydraulics quit working, do the pedals lock up? Any lights on the dash come on? Codes in the display?

Thanks for the reply. The pedals have very little movement which the bucket will move about an inch open or close that's about all no lights in the display and no codes that I have seen so far. It sounds like it wants to move but it's fighting against itself.

So, none of the lights in the box below come on when the hydraulics quit? To clarify, the pedals do decrease in the amount you can move them when you have no hydraulics? If you press the menu button on the monitor, then scroll to main menu codes and press select, are they any active or stored codes in there? Press next to scroll through the codes, if any. Post them.

Hello, to clarify there are no lights on at all. And from looking there are no codes related to hydraulics. The pedals do lose moving capabilities. I can move them just a little bit. The motors seemed to change rpms like it's fighting the hydraulics if that makes sense. Like the pumps are working but the fluid isn't going anywhere. Hopefully that makes sense.

When you first climb in the machine and sit in the seat and or key on, are those lights working? Your description says your interlock system is kicking out and disabling the hydraulics and the park brake. It will do that if there is an issue with the seat sensor, seat bar sensor, cab door switch (if it has a door) and issues with the solenoids themselves. If a seat switch would be an issue, for example, whether you come out of the seat or a switch/wiring problem, then that light would light up (and a wiring issue would generate a code). If you had an issue with one of the solenoids, then you would have a code.
