My 444C loader throttle cable is sticking, it tends to be worse when its cold. It makes it much less usable having to manually decelerate the throttle with your hand. Is there anything that it can tend to be, or do I just have an old cable that's getting tight and need a newer one?
Disconnect the cable from the throttle control, check tightness of cable and throttle control while apart
I picked up a Lawn mower throttle cable at the hardware store and installed it after mine began sticking , was able to grease the new cable up before cutting it to fit. works like a charm
YUP, lawn mower cable works good & you just tighten the hold-down clamp for "stiffness" so it doesn't float on ya..
