loader seems to run better when hydralic bucket or boom lift is being used. any comments
It sounds like a spool in the control valve could be out of neutral. Does it have an auxiliary section that's not being used? If a spool in one section is stuck out of neutral the system pressure increases until the system relief valve opens and the engine is loaded until you use another function and the oil is routed to the other function. If it has a 4in1 bucket make sure the handle isn't stuck in the close position.
thanks, Im not sure how to check for that, but I think thats probably whats wrong
no auxiliary section
Can you put a picture of the control valve on here? Some of the older valves had a power beyond sleeve in the end cap to supply oil to a backhoe or other attachment. There are a couple o-rings that could be blown on it causing the hydraulic pump to load the engine with everything in neutral.
Sorry Got put on hold for a few. Oddly it quit running bad.. Im assuming that a valve was stuck and freed itself. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate people that will take the time to help us "dummies"
