I have a 97 jd 455 and today While shifting from forward to reverse the machine kept moving forward when I let off the deceleration pedal but the lever was in reverse. Went back to neutral and to reverse and machine did like it was supposed to. This happened about 5 or 6 times over the course of about 6 hours. Anybody have any idea what could cause this?
Worn out or misadjusted shift linkage.
Okay I’ll take take a look at it when I get it back home
