John Deere 500A 1969, Three issues, first no neutral on the left forward reverse lever, always wants to go when you let up on the clutch, unless you put it in park with the right lever, second when cranking the starter, if it doesn't start right away, seems like it builds hydraulic pressure, you feel the machine start to move, then the starter is not strong enough to crank it, if you let it sit for a while, it seems to bleed off so it will crank again. if it starts, it seems to work fine, except for the neutral issue. with new filters, it runs fine for 10 minutes, then slows down and stalls, cant crank it to start it for a while, because of the above hydraulic issue. Please and thanks.
Welcome to HEF Daniel ! If you don't have the tech manual TM1025, I suggest you get one. I would start with a shifter linkage adjustment.
