bought new tires for my back hoe front and rear tubeless, was thinking of mounting them myself,no calcium,is it a big deal or like other tires beat with a hammer on the bead and use tire irons?
Why beat on the bead with a hammer when you have a backhoe bucket? I've never changed tires on a backhoe so I can't help you there.
firestone guy told me bucket may not do it have to use hammer because rim is serrated or knurled? said a little at a time ,,i thought my logging buddy with grapple hook could do it ,thought i would get input before i take them to someone
Big wedge and tire irons.Tire guys have to eat too you know--why not just give it out to the experts?
its kind of back in the woods, thought i could do one at a time. roads not that good for tire guy to come in and i would have to bring all four out at once,i was told they come apart pretty easy, just thought i would ask if anyone else did it
You can use the hoe to break the bead loose from the rim. I've done that a couple times. Just don'd do it in the location of the valve stem unless your planning on buying new tubes. After you've broken both sides free, you're going to need tire tools to work it off from there.
