It cranks, won’t start on it’s own. We had fuel pressure issue, put new transfer pump, heater solenoid, and had injectors rebuild. It will start and run perfect with a little starter fluid. Any jd people here able to give me a couple ideas, like switches,?or anything that would not let it fire off. We have fuel everywhere it needs to be. Injection pump seems it does good. Each injector changes the engine when cut out so holes seem fine. Almost no blow at all. Thanks in advance.
Welcome to HEF JMullins ! Serial number? Does it smoke while cranking? Is this something that started suddenly or got worse over time?
No smoking we had injectors redone had a couple drooling some. Found injection pump not building enough while cranking to pop injectors
So was anything done to the injection pump? Replaced/rebuilt?
We removed injectors and rerouted all the tubing so we could see the injectors while it cranked. At no point did fuel pop off out of any of them. Fuel was getting to the side, fuel was coming from inj pump but not enough. If you used just a shot of stater fluid before it would run good mid to high idle but low idle would shut off and not start back.lol forgot to say yes it’s off being rebuilt right now.
