This unit is blowing the starting aid fuse after running a while and it affects the charging system as well. Does anyone possibly have a wiring diagram for this unit?
The only thing on that circuit is the start aid circuit and the excitation circuit to the D+ terminal of the alternator. Serial number?

Based on your serial number the two circuits I mentioned are the only circuits on that fuse. So you have a short between the start aid fuse and the start aid switch or a short in the wiring to the D+ of the alternator. Possibly an alternator issue as well.
Found harness rubbed through behind cab fuse panel where it makes the bend around cab structure. Repaired harness and all is good at this time. Thanks for the info
