My JD 550J hydrostat is having tracking issues. It will lock up on one side in forward from time to time. However when it does, backing up seems to "fix" it for a while. Any ideas?
I would start by draining the oil in the final drive, just to rule out bearing or gear failure. The describing word ( lock) is not like (stops).
My 750c had tracking issues ,John Deere came out and found bad wire connections due to mud. I have an issue with one side now.Looked up the code and it is telling me I have a bad tracking sensor.
