How much blowby are you talking about? and how much oil is there leaking with the blowby? enough to collect dust, or enough to keep the dust wet, or enough to rinse the dust clean? Are you saying this machine is running 36 hours a week? if it does, how much of that time is idling, and how much is it working hard? The only guess I have is that it's not being worked hard enough. How does the oil look? now and when it's drained? ever sampled the oil?

As of today the oil leak was extreme and the machine had to be stopped. It was leaking about a quart of oil from the crankcase ventilation pipe along with white smoke and black smoke came out of the tail pipe. yes the machine is running 36 hours a week , roughly 6 hrs a day. Idling time is a few minutes between loading and unloading. At full power it was running about 5-6 hrs nonstop. The oil looked extremely burned and coming out excessively...it has only worked 100hrs since oil change. Maintenance is thorough and only the best parts and oil are used. machine hours:2,272 thank you!

Did you have to put any anti freeze/coolant in? If it is smoking white than that usually means that water is getting into the combustion chamber. If you have a bad water leak then it could be going straight down the cylinder liners into the sump, overfilling the oil level and pushing it out of the crankcase ventilation. Or, You could have a broken injector which is just dumping lots of diesel fuel into one of the combustion chambers, some of which is coming out of the tail pipe un burnt, and the rest of which is escaping down the cylinder liners (bore washing) and overfilling the sump pushing the engine oil out of the breather. This could also result in the black smoke as you have lost compression on the cylinder in question. I would have thought the engine would also be running badly if one of the above problems exists.

After thoroughly checking, I dont see a coolant leak and the reservoir is full. I will check the injectors to see if its that. I really appreciate your help with this! thanks a bunch!

Being that ist a 2005 am i correct to assume that its a common-rail ISB? In the dodge pickups (yes I know the dodges us a 5.9 I6 but its the same architecture) they're some what notorious for breaking tips off injector nozzles and burning up the odd piston. Usually #1 or #6 ,(#4 in your case) as they airflow is limited to those two cylinders that doesn't help matters either. Im guessing that #1 or #4 is burnt through at a ring land. these engines don't have liners, but they can be bored oversize.
