Job sites

This isn't my job site, (plenty of pictures) it is where I go on Sundays with my 18yr old nephew, when work commitements allow. Its a canal restoration project, run purely by volunteers. Some projects are beyond volunteer ability and contractors have to be brought in, as is the case here. It is part 3 of the project to get the canal across the village High St. Not a major highway but still a busy route. This is the building of the bridge. The piles were put in in January. In a nut shell, a section of canal has been lowered to provide enough headroom to get under the road, hence the new bridge. A new lock has already been built the other side of the road to bring the canal back up to its original level.
