Hi Just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be with this machine. The engine was rebuilt. It run fine for a couple hrs. Although at the start up it kinda off but still always turns on. Once it turns on it runs good for about 15 min, then it starts to blow white smoke sometimes black smoke which smells like diesel and also loses power. I changed the crankshaft sensor nothing changed. Turbo is also new. The codes that show up are 171-04 636-10 Serial number is 1FF210GXPDD521027* Engine is a 6068ht069 Would anyone happen to have the electrical schematics for this. Im suspecting its a fuel issue but not sure Thanks un advance
171-04 related to the ambient air temperature circuit. 636-10 ECU detects an improper pattern on the high pressure pump position sensor input. Sensor location in screenshot below. ****edit, was unable to post the screenshot **** will try again later
Hmmmm! Seems like you have a blown head gasket. Check oil for water or whitish color as well.
Thank you Dave for your insight I think when it was rebuilt the timing of the fuel pump and crankshaft was off a tooth. Thanks again for your help
