I have a 89 JD 210c, which is almost exactly like the 310. It appears to have weak brakes, but I can skid the tires with the transmission disengaged. I have adjusted and bled the brakes. Could the idle be set too high? How about the transmission not slipping enough? The 210s do not have vibration dampeners on the engine, maybe someone increased the idle? There is no tachometer so I can't tell. Is there any way to check the engine RPM?
