John Deere 230clc swing problem

I have a customer that has a JD 230clc excavator with about 3000 hours on it. That has swing grinding sound that come once in while.When you go to stop swing. Has anyone had a machine do this ? I have not had a chance to go and see it yet .

    Did you find out what the problem was? I have a very similar problem

    Customer said the problem went away .He said felt it in the floor under his feet .Like oil flowing through a valve assembly.
