Welcome to HEF WildrBill ! Serial number please. Did you change the transmission filter? If so, cut it open and look at the bypass inside to make sure it is not broken with missing pieces. Brakes don't work at all or are real hard to stop? Park brake releasing? Transmission oil level checked with the engine idling, transmission warm? It might be a coincidence with the changing of the oil, but check the orifice Tee fitting pictured below for restrictions. Whatever you do, don't replace the fitting with one without orifices. Just clean it out and reinstall it. See if your brakes work after cleaning.

The brakes do work but you have to put a lot of force on the pedal. I bled the drakes and lost brakes completely as a result of losing all the fluid. It looks like the brake master cylinder fluid is connected to the transmission. What ever the case after bleeding the brakes it didn't replenish the fluid in the master cylinder and I removed the top of the m/c to manually refill it with transmission fluid to rebelled the system. P.S. It's now running in derated mode. There was some leaves that cought fire on the exhaust manifold and charged some wires on the top rear of the motor. It melted the insulation but didn't break any wires though they got hot. I made sure none of the wires were touching each other but didn't replace the harness. Could that be the source of the "low pressure fuel pump circuit fault" and the " def dosing heater fault " codes as to being the reason it's in derated mode?

Did you check that orifice I pictured above? Which codes are active?

  8. #8WildrBill2025-03-08 22:45

It says 2 but it's the first 3 that are active

  9. #9WildrBill2025-03-08 22:46

No I haven't checked the orifice but will

1075.06 means there is low resistance in the fuel pump circuit, which will set the first two. Your wiring is either shorted to ground or the fuel pump has an internal short. Unfortunately, Deere does not publish a resistance value for the fuel pump.

Thanks Everyone. I'm going up to the ranch where the backhoe is for the next 3 days to focus on fixing it. Is it at all possible that I can contact any of you if need by phone or text?
