seems the loader valve on my 310a backhoe has develloped a leak around one of the spool valves,so i figure i need to remove and reseal both sections of the valve while i have it off.i,ve never done one of these before, and was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this operation, you know, any do,s or dont,s or any pitfallls i should be aware of before i start.any advice would be greatlly appreciated, thanks Steve

The loader control valves are usually quite easy to rebuild providing there is no rust on any of the internal parts. Order a seal kit from Deere and replace all the o-rings and seals. Take your time and make notes and take photos before you pull of the parts to be sure you put everything back together like is was. Before you take it apart, clean off the outside of the valve to get rid of all dirt that can fall in. Make sure to lube all parts with hydraulic oil while assembling. Examine the parts that don't come with the kit to be sure there is no damage. Just be observant and you'll do fine.
