i,ve got a 310a backhoe that takes about 4to5 minutes for the initial engagement in to forward upon initial startup.it will go in to reverse instantly,and will work properly in all gears after the initial lockup,no slipping at all,has anyone ever heard of this problem?thanks for looking, sbarrett
You may have a pickup screen partly plugged. The oil pump may have a hard time bringing the oil up to the reverser valve but once its there all is well until you shut down and it drains back to sump. # 9 is the pickup screen.
Be sure and check linkage. You could have wear in linkage components that now is not allowing lever to move fully into fwd position at reverser control valve.
