can someone tell me how to take the head off my 310c? i cants seem to loosen the injecter line on the head they seem real tite. do you need to remove the metal line that goes to the fuel tank? if so can you just take the 4 bolts out under the metal line . the bolts fasten to the head. any help would be great. thanks gary

I've worked a bit on the older JD engines. I'm not sure what you have, but if they are the pencil type injectors, then the short tube coming out of the injector has flat sides on it for a wrench. The mating nut on the injector line takes an open end wrench also. Get both wrenches aligned so you can squeeze them like a pair of pliers. One can get a fair bit of force on them this way and is the way they are usually tightened too. That failing you may need to heat the nut. I have no idea when you refer to the 4 bolts. Need a picture, or someone that has worked on this model engine to help. Phil
