my 317 will shut off when unhook the seatbelt or get off the seat even though the park button is pushed. now it is shutting off just at random. any ideas?
I believe theres a switch on the auxiliary spool section of the control valve that if it fails will tell the brain that the auxiliary is activated and that when you try to leave the seat it shuts off the engine. Check that the auxiliary function is actually in neutral first.. Then try replacing that switch. The valve is usually between your feet--in that area under some tin covers. There are spool lockouts on the boom and bucket sections..look for a switch thats in line with the auxiliary spool.
