John Deere 333g Auxiliary Hydraulics NO power

Matt_cantu ยท 2023-07-23 12:47

I have a 2020 John Deere 333g sn 349424. Running a disc mulcher the machine all of a sudden lost power. Its like the mulcher is not consuming any of the hydraulic pressure. Ive had the hydraulic motor checked, the charge pump, the hi flo pump, and the PRV checked. i cant seem to figure out where the fluid is bypassing to. the mulcher still runs just short of power. it does this in low and hi flo. the high flo is engaging as i can clearly tell the mulcher speeds up, just short of normal

Welcome to HEF Matt ! Is there an E or an F before the serial number? I would be checking the Connect Under Pressure coupler manifold. To test, disconnect the small line that comes out of the back of the left side of the boom. Cap the hose. Attach a hose to the uncapped line coming out the back of the boom and run it to a container. Activate the auxiliaries first in one direction, then the other. There should be no leakage out of that hose. If there is leakage, one of the coupler cartridges are bad. If it leaks, which way did you push the roller to make it leak?

are you referring to the case drain line coming from the manifold? am i doing this test without the mulcher attached?

Yes, the case drain line. No attachments connected. Just dead heading the auxiliaries to see if there is leakage out of the case drain line.
