Hydraulics work on machine. Machine will drive until put under a load. Then it stalls the tracks. Removed 1/8 inch pipe plug at top of trans and installed pressure gauge. It will go to 100lbs when machine starts then drops to 20 lbs. can anybody tell me where else to check pressures? Don't want to put a put in if that's not problem. Btw it don't matter high low reverse or what gear. Same problem.
Did drain trans oil and check inlet screen. Also changed trans filter at oil cooler . No difference . Called john Deere tech line on Thursday said it was so old he would have to look up and call back in the afternoon. Called. 5 times Friday never got a return call .
Check the HLR linkage adjustment first. That can affect the HLR trans pressures that you're seeing. It's kind of detailed. I could scan it tomorrow and post it.

Thanks d9gdon. It is leaking internally . Now waiting on customer to pick unit up and decide what he wants to do.
