I have a John Deere 450C with turbo and my question is...On the exhaust side of the turbo is an adapter. Is this supposed to be in tight or able to flop around?
I had a 450 c for many years, that piece was always lose on my machine...however it ran good and was a strong pusher. It didn't seem to leak much exhaust gases either. That doesn't mean it was right, just an observation.
They will fit a bit loose. Once they get hot and some fuel soot hits them, they will eventually seal up for the most part.
