My grandfather has a John Deere 450G TC. First off, we are having an issue with the alarm. The alarm sounds when the engine is shut off and even when the key is out. Any ideas? Once I unhook the batteries and rehook them up, it doesn't beep. He said it has happened before and hasn't done it since. He doesn't remember what made it stop. Also, does anyone have any of the filter numbers for it? Its a 99 model. Thanks!
Usually when the alarm is sounding, there will be an indicator light also to point you in the right direction. Or does this only happen when the key is off?
It only does it when the key is off, and most of the boards paint has rubbed off. The stop light flashes
