Is there a way to clear 490e blink codes without a JDDC tool? I have a Dr zx and it won't link up.
If the codes are blinking on the PVC, then they are active and can't be cleared until repaired.
It has numerous codes and some have been repaired but the codes still show. Shows some codes that test and function like it's suppose to.
The only other way that I know of to clear codes is with what is called a "Retry procedure A or B". Check your messages.

Yep. But if you have actively blinking codes, then a retry A or B won't clear them. They need to be fixed. @LACHAU can shed some light on this and hopefully confirm that information.
