We have a 2001 650HLT. It has been working fine and all of the sudden it seems to have an issue. Yesterday was the 1st time it happened. Worked fine in the am but after lunch the travel speed seems to slow down. Even in 3.0 it seems to be moving as though it is in 1.3 for example. We hooked up Service Advisor last night but there were no stored or active codes. At the time we plugged into it the machine seemed to be operating correctly. It happened again around mid morning today. Loss of power to the tracks and slow moving. The operator states that it doesn't have enough power to use the rippers when it happens. He also stated that you can shut the machine off for a while and it will work normally for an hour or so. SN T0650HX907363 Thank you
Remove the cover from the TCU in the left rear of the cab. Use the buttons on the top of TCU to access codes and view in the little window on the TCU. Press menu until "CODES" appears in the window. Then press select. Post all the codes. When done recording the codes (if more than one), then press select until the word end is in the window. Press and hold select to clear the codes. The codes are cleared when "F300" and then the word "END" appears in the window. Run it until the issue happens and to see what code returns. Post result. You cannot see TCU codes with Circus Advisor .
