after a hr of use my transmission oil creeps into the red zone and dozer loses power . this didnt come on gradually just one day. engine temp is fine trans pressure reads good. hyd. tank on rh side hotter than hell ,lh side is fine.tractor tracks fine and works good till hot.oil cooler in front of rad plugged?????
Check to see if your cooler is plugged, otherwise you possibly have a pressure relief vave or hyd. Spool vave bypassing and making heat. Withe the macine cold use an infrared temp. gun to find the hot spot. Did you seem to loose hyd power to any functions?
thanx im going to do just that . the cooler seemthe best place first.i was told change oil and filters first,but if i use j d deere fluid that will be about 1000 bucks. ill do that anyway but it seem expensive for troubleshooting.if they were plugged wouldnt it not function well cold.would it?
