Having some issues with a late 80's Jd 762b elevating scraper. Torque converter seems to kick out when put into gear. Totally intermittent. shifter tells it to go into gear, you can feel it go into gear. then it kicks out. (switch is in manual) when it kicks out it flashes zero on the indicator. when you unhook the wiring harness to the top of trans it flashes a 4 on the indicator? Any ideas????:Banghead
Also, wiring harness is new from back of cab to trans. Trans is full of oil. battery connections are good, checked as many ground wires as i could (loosened and retightened). Probably a voltage issue?

haha, there are 6 solenoids on top of the trans and 1 trans speed sensor on the rear of trans. (all in the same wire loom). all connections to solenoids cleaned and trans speed sensor had a lot of condensation on wires/connectors. It actually turned out to be pretty simple and easy....or lucky
