I have a 770 bh was working fine and all of a sudden lost all hydrolics. Machine will drive forwards and backwards but have no steering or controls. Changed all the filters, and cleaned the screen. Drive coupler to pump is good. Is there anything else it could be besides the pump?
Bummer. Wish I had words of wisdom, but I do not. Sudden loss sounds like mechanical failure rather than pump getting weak. Drive coupler would have been my first guess. Hope you find a cheap solution rather than having to rebuild pump.....

i believe that grader has the old Deere radial piston pump. Check and make sure you still have good charge pressure to the pump. It cannot build high pressure unless it is getting low pressure first.
Yes, and get the technical manual. Even if you pay retail, it will be the cheapest way to fix whatever your problem is.

Do you understand what a radial pump is? and what/where the charge pressure is? We can talk you through that much, but if you don't have charge pressure, that's harder to figure out. But you want to know because a new pump won't work either without charge pressure.
