Hello. One of my friends borrowed my other friends John Deere G35. He claims he hit a large bump it died and now cranks but won't start. He kept it to himself for a week but now asked for help. I haven't been out to look at it yet any ideas out here where to start?
I wish I could help, and please don't take this the wrong way, I'm a ballbreaker at heart, but I really can't help mysmartassself from wondering if the "bump" that your friend that borrowed your other friends machine "hit" was so big it tipped the machine over? Excavators get bumped around a lot and typically don't just "die". I imagine the potential is there to knock a pickup tube or some wiring off though.
Start with checking fuses.
