We have a older 750C series 1 dozer with a cargo 50 BPS winch. I cannot get the winch to do anything. I think it is stuck in free spool because I can pull the line out by hand no problem, but can’t seem to get it to engage at all the spool back in (or out). Anyone have experience with this model or heard of them getting stuck in free spool?

Do you have the manual for the winch or done any further investigation as to whether it is a hydraulic or mechanical issue?
