I was thinking about installing one of those in line tank heaters on my GMC 7000 dump w a 366. Anyone ever use one of these are the worth the trouble or a waste of time, money, and effort?
I've installed them on several engines, never had an issue with one and sure beats the heck out of no heater.
I put one in a bobcat a while ago. It worked great and way better than I though it would. Just make sure to install it according to the directions. My heater needed to be installed vertically otherwise the element would burn out due to not being immersed in coolant.
