Ohio CAT currently has several opportunities all across the state for heavy equipment technicians. Our biggest area of growth and most opportunity is in Columbus, OH. We are looking for technicians with some prior experience on heavy equipment. If that equipment is CAT, then that is icing on the cake, but we are looking for SOME experience in industry. Here are the positions that we have open right now in Columbus: 1st Shift, Component Shop Technician: Rebuilding components such as drop boxes, differentials, final drives, torque converters, etc. 1st Shift, Rental Shop Technician: Diagnosis and repairing smaller equipment in our rental fleet. Previous experience on aerial equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers is preferred. 2nd Shift, Shop Technician: These positions don't require quite as much experience and will complete quicker turn-around time repairs and maintenance's. Work on rental equipment is common here as well. Field Service Technician: You are the best of the best. On-your-own diagnosis and repairs, superior customer service, higher pay and company service truck. You also always have your tools because our Field Techs drive their trucks home, assuming they live within the shop service area. I'm going to wrap this up since its getting kind of long. Just lastly wanted to mention that Ohio CAT offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the best training in the industry. If you aren't working for Ohio CAT in Ohio, you are getting left behind in training and technology.
