I'm having trouble finding replacement track rollers for my Kobelco SK130LC Serial YPU2326.The trouble is that the prescribed rollers for that model do not fit. I am told by Kobelco that my machine has a heavier duty set of track chains than came out on the excavator OEM. It has Berco CR 4852 track chain. It has Kobelco 2416N334/5 rollers on it now, along with some ITR rollers (with no numbers). I have measurements for the existing rollers 148.76 mm inside flange measurement, 175.14 outside flange measurement, 100mm center to center end holes on the pillar, 263mm center to center of holts across the roller. This measurement is taken off the Kobelco roller 2416N334/5. The 24100N6505 roller that is supposed tinfit this machine measures 132mm inside flanges. 170mm height of roller top of flange to top of flange - is there a website anyone knows of that I can use these measurements to find the model these rollers are from? In need of three. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
Is that number on the collar or stamped into the roller shell flange?
Kobelco bottom roller That number is stamped on the collar. The number on the roller flange is 2413N73 with a symbol behind the 3 that i cannot make, could be a 0 or 9 possibly.
Also having some difficulty finding the correct O-rings for the pilot controller in the cab. Ordered a O-ring kit from Kobelco-Case dealer in Little Rock, but tbey did not fit my controller. Part stamped on my controller is YN30V00002F1, also stamped on it is TH40K1164A S820079. The O-rings in the kit were way to small. Anyone have a part number for the O-rings would be appreciated.
For that controller, found in the early serial number SK150LC-Mark IV book, repair kit is YN30V00002R100 Try a roller, new part number LQ64D00054F1, the roller flange number 2413N736 for the bare shell is also in the early SK150LC-Mark IV book. Best guess.
Part number 24100N4042F2 or YY64D00027F1 has dimensions 185 x148. Shows to fit a SK100-1 or SK120-1. This is probably the roller you need. Original SK100 machines used a smaller track chain. Somewhere along the line when the Berco chain, which has a wider running surface was installed the wider inside running surface roller was installed. As you found out there are different rollers for this machine, I show 3 different ones. First two are the narrow rollers which are almost the same. Only difference is the mounting surface to running surface. Third roller is what you called the heavy duty. The company I work for may have some in stock but I won't be able to tell until Monday. I'll check and post if we have some. James
Kobelco SK130LC Thanks James & lantraxco, i'll sure give these a try & see if they are available near by in Little Rock, Ar. HeavyQuip may be able to cross these roller numbers over to an ITR bottom roller. Sure hope so, rollers there run abour $120 to $ 150 ea. My dealer should be able to give me the O-ring size i need to fix both my controllers, looks like they may have been changed somewhere down the road too. I ordered a couple O-rings kits today to have on hand to fix some of the small leaks. Top jib cylinder in leaking some too, running or parked, leaks oil down on the boom, plan to put a repair kit in it myself also. Sure good to have some help along the way. Robert
Hello lantraxco, i called HeavyQuip this morning & they can,t cross LQ64D00054F1 over to a ITR roller number. Part #YY64D00027F1 does not show available any where. I'll try Kobelco dealer and see if LQ64D0005F1 comes up in tbeir system. This machine has 4 ITR rollers on it on the bottom,( no numbers) but they can't find one in their system to match the measurements of the one I have. Nerver dreamed it could be tjis difficult to fine a bottom track roller.
The LQ64D00054F1 shows to apply to SK210 size machine. I checked with the Heavyquip store in Irving and they are out of stock in all their locations. Same as you found out. The following measurement is equal to the YY64D00027F1. Total width 311mm Outside flange to outside flange 175mm Inside flange to inside flange 140mm Outside flange diameter 170mm Running surface diameter 140mm Bolt hole pattern is 263x100 mm Collar thickness is 53mm The company I work for we are out of stock also as it is a new number in our system and we are now only starting to receive call on them. Part number 24100N4042F2 is replaced by 24100N6505F1. These rollers are for the narrow chain and are not what you need. The Kobelco part numbering system is not very friendly. Hope all this helps. James
Hello James, went to a Cat dealer & LinkBelt dealer today. Both had rollers with the shell part the same as my old roller. Difference was in the bolt holes across the piller block part. Also went by a machine shop to check on cost of turning the roller part down on the 24100N6505F1 (if it can stand that much, about 3/16" off each flange)or possibility of slotting the holes on tbe cat or Linkbelt roller (if there is enough metal to do that) Cost would run about $100 per roller. 24100N6505F1 roller runs about $120 ea. Do you think that might work to get me up and running?
Update on roller statis. Found a couple track rollers at ValuePart in Dallas, i believe will work on my Kobelco SK130LC. Part #VA161200. The LinkBelt dealer in Mablevale, Ar. Was able to find these for me. Shipping directly to me so i can try them out. Fixed a leak on main hydraulic pump today pulled the covers off the drive axle motor today to check on another hydraulic leak. Turned out to be a steel line connection. Havent tried to tighten yet, due to amount of rust on the fitting. Sprayed a little pentrating oil & let set over night, try tomorrow. I'll post how things turn out. Thanks for all the responces.
I don't work at ValueParts but am familiar as they are a competitor of ours. Based on the part number you listed I doubt that is the correct roller. It could be if made to fit both early and late roller. First thing I would do once you receive the rollers is to loosen the track, unless you already have a lot of slack, bring the boom to the side, power down to get the track hanging down enough so you can set the roller on the chain to see if the chain will run inside the roller. Of course use whatever safety measures you need if sticking your arms under the machine. In regards to your question yesterday about machine the flanges. That may be your only option. Since the outside of the roller shell is the same dimensions increasing the inside dimension will not hurt as it just ends up being the same as the new shell. The roller shell is hard so machining it will be somewhat difficult. I can send you drawings of both rollers if we can figure out how to send messages. James
James You could e-mail them to me at [email protected] Yes, i have slack in the chain as i have already taken a good roller out of the middle and moved it back in front of the sprocket, where the bad roller was. Just left the center roller out for the time being as tbe machine is not working at this time. Been woring on smaller stuff, fixing hyd. leaks, fixing cab heater, putting new o-rings in tbe pilot controls in cab, changing oil & fuel filters, repairing the emergency kill stop. Arm cylinder leaking some running or stopped, i guess repair kit for it may be next on list of things to do. Again, thanks for your help. H&R Construction Parts in Buffalo, New York may have some used rollers that will work, still checking their measurements, looks like their roller is about 1/2" wider on the inside flange measurements. Still have to che k tbe thickness of the piller block & height of roller before we'll know it it will work. Photo from H&R Construction.
Here's thr roller coming from ValuePart. Shipping was pretty high, $50 buck per roller, ordered two.
Email sent with drawings. The rollers in the picture from H&R may be the correct ones. Did they give you a part number associated with those rollers? James
They are supposed to be LQ64D00054F1, they are kinda hard to get good info. from. Tne roller from ValuePart came in late today and they look like they will work, we,ll know for sure tomorrow. Put most everything back together today, fired her up & two gauges inside lite up when turning on tne key. Oil light & battery light, battery goes off when engine cranks up, oil light stays on, idle or higher rpms. Engine seems to run fine, no gauges worked when i bought it. Repaired a couple wires in the harness behind the seat & now have battery, oil, fuel, & temp. Guesss i'll get a manual oil gauge tomorrow & see whats going on with the oil pressure. Wires on tne plug at the sender on the injector pump side are not in very good shape where they plug in. Separated the two wires, light still on. Unplugged the wires and light goes off. From what i read there is possibly two oil units on this engine, pressure & sensor, not sure just yet. Engine 4BT serial 457003104 model B3.9 C Customer spec LP02PU009F1.
Hello James I tried the roller from ValuePart, it sit right down on the chain with no slack to either side, will this work, or will it be to tight. Not sure how much slack there should be on a new roller. The other rollers have 1/4 to 1/2" slack in them when sitting down on the chain?
If the rollers set flat on the links you should be ok. Your chain is probably worn some which helps. Normally there is only 2-4mm total clearance between the chain and flanges, but could be more as I have seen drawings show 6-8mm. James
Kobelco SK130LC Hello Master Link I installed the rollers from ValuePart & they sit down on the chain flat. No much clearance on the sides, but according to your note only 002 to 004 mm is standard. Worked the machine about 3 hrs. & all seems to be fine. Ordered the oil pressure sending from Cummins & that fixed the oil light staying on. Also put a manual gauge on it so I can look and see what it is actually doing, after working for awhile. About 40psi after she's good and warmed up, showing about 20 psi on idle. Sorry being so long to respond, took a few day to go fishing at Wright Patman Lake, crappie fishing, 23 first day, 25 day two, 41 day 3 for tbe wife & I. Still there plan to stay a few more days. Cant pass them up. Thanks for all your help, i'm sure I'll need more when i start working the machine more. Robert
