I have a kobelco sk200 serial number yqu3872 the right track not getting any hydralic fluid has anyone else had this problem or could give me some advice on what the problem could be
check the pilot pressure. Dead head pressure going into the swivel. Dead head after the swivel
Thanks mike for your advice i dont have gauges to beable to check presse i guess i need to get some all other functions work fine just no fluid to right track you think swivel just needs rebuilt
It won't move at all in either direction even lifted up in the air? If you don't have gauges you don't know if it's not getting oil, all you really can know is if it's turning or not and if it does move, if it's weak? As Mike suggests you probably need to start at the controller under the pedal and work from there.
Thanks lantraxco for reply and yes even if lifted no movement either direction i tracked hoses from main control vavle assembly through controls back to main control assembly and all has good flow then crack lines at travel motor and very little oil i know old school way of checkin but i do know there no oil gettin to that travel motor im not a excavator mechanic and appreiciate all advice
Sounds to me like you got a stuck spool in the main valve there, IF you are actually getting correct pilot pressures. If the hoses will reach, try swapping the control lines for the left and right tracks either at the controller or at the main valve bank. Hoses probably not long enough but its worth a try.
I switched the 2 lines at top of main control valve and still the same you say same right track nothin so at top of main control valve ya take the cap off and there spring and allen bolt can i just take that loose and pull spool out or is that a ya loosein allen bolt and stuff starts flyin and good luck puttin back together my thought with all ive done its either the main control valve or the in the swivel
If you're that far, with the engine off just see if you can shift the spool by hand, push it in, see if the spring brings it back to center. There's a spring at each end to center the spool.
Just a small note, there's only springs at one end of the spool held on with a shoulder bolt, if they are not broken don't loosen the bolt. If the spool slides freely in the bore it's ok. Cory, have someone stroke the pilot control valve full stroke while you listen very closly to the final drive motor, it's possible you have a stripped splined shaft between the hyd motor and the final drive. You might hear it spinning. wes
Just askin question but if spline striped at hyd motor wouldnt that affect both tracks? And if talkin bout spline in travel motor it self would that affect the fact its not gettin any oil or very little?
I'm talking about the shaft in the travel motor. And I'm reading the post here and not sure what's been done, if you just cracked the lines at the A and B ports on the travel motor your not going to see much oil leaking. These are hard thick walled tubes and very hard to work with. If your going to switch any hoses switch them at the travel pilot valves under the floor. Left valve with right valve. Identify the hoses so you can put them back where they belong. Unless you've got metal or hyd cyl packing floating around your hyd system I dout the main spool is sticking. wes
Center swivel bypassing possibly
Yea possibly, but I've never seen a swivel joint be so bad as to bypass that much oil no load. Cory how many hrs on this machine?
