Sorry if this is the wrong forum. But I am hoping someone can give my father some advice. He has a Kobelco SK60 excavator and when he tries to turn the machine off with the key it doesn't turn off. He tried replacing the ignition and some sensor by the air filter And still no luck. The only way he can get the machine to turn off is to cut the fuel supply. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
What engine, what year?? look at the engine when he shuts it down.. if its the one I'm thinking about, you should see a rod/arm moving the throttle BACK past idle to a shut-off position.. the machine might just need to be put in "learn" mode & recalibrated.. But w/o knowing what engine, its a shot in the dark.
