i need help. i have a 2013 kobelco sx 210. the problem started with a low def reading which wasnt actually low. we changed out all the def and replaced. the next problem was def injector failure. we changed that out and that didnt change code. the machine then went into low power mode and we started to bring it out of location and it then went into severe power restriction and barely crawls. we called the local kobelco equipment company and they sent out a service guy who couldnt do anything. he didnt have the correct computer to look at errors. after a few calls, we found out that this is weird kobelco exacavator as it is italian made with case parts. i called kobelco usa and they gave me the name of a kobelco employee and he came up with the laptop and reset all codes and said he didnt see anything wrong. we worked it about 20 hours and it did the same thing. in addition to earlier codes , it is now saying code 023. it hasnt moved in over 9 months. i cant get the kobelco guy to come back due to many many excuses. im gonna call kobelco usa again but just wanted to see if anybody has any thoughts or had this happen to them and if so, how did you fix it. thanks
You need the codes off of the dosing controller while the error is occurring to accurately diag the problem. Where are you located? Did you change the level/pickup assembly? Can you post a picture of the error your seeing?
Taking some photos of the monitor on your machine when it gets errors will help us understand your problem more clearly.
Your machine is SK210-9 (not SX210!). I can say that this model is a mistake by Kobelco USA!! This machine is equipped with an engine of FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies), the engine model is F4HFE613*A003. This engine model is actually made in Italy and is often fitted to Case and New Holland equipment. This engine is difficult to find repair manuals, even the repair manual of Kobelco USA is very sketchy on how to repair this engine. So we're not surprised to see Kobelco technicians confused with it.
