Hello, I have been working on a Komat'su HM350-1 Haul Truck and machine will not start and is throwing diagnostic codes ADAZKB AND ADZKKB. It all started with ADZKKB then after many times of cranking while doing diagnostics ADAZKB DTC is now present as well. When you shut key off the codes go to stored but as soon as it starts cranking it throws those DTCs. We have gone through the DIAGNOSTIC steps on Komatsu manual multiple times and everything passes with correct specs and the ending step was to replace ECU so we tested multiple times to make sure and we ordered ECU and it did not fix this issue. Has anyone seen or had this issue before we even had dealer come out and had told us it needs all new injectors and harnesses im not a parts thrower so im going to cover all my bases before we just throw parts at it. How many hours on the injectors, engine, and is it resolved yet or still broken and parked. Is it cranking over slow or is it spiining fast but not firing. Wondering what happened. Simon C
Injectors are new, also have correct resistance at plug and cranks fast no fire.
If it cranks fast with no firing, it either has no air or no fuel. Does it have a positive air shutdown that is tripped. Will it fire if you shoot straight WD40 into the air intake while cranking. Is it air locked for fuel or is there a fuel return to tank that is leaking off all fuel pressure. Does it have any codes for low fuel pressure, or low oil pressure. Thinking about obvious things to check. Can you see the rockers moving from the top without pulling valve cover. Have known of a engine that had broken camshaft. Could the computer be gone. Trying to rule out simple things. Simon C
Forgot ,does that engine have a fuel shut off solenoid of some kind that is powered but not opening, and is there a blown fuse or fusable link or a breaker that is tripped. How much does a schematic cost. Dealer mechanic would of had one or should of had one. Has the computer been tested since install, missed that in your previous post. something has to be testable to find cause of no fire. Simon C
