Are you talking about pilot pressure or what. Not much information in your post to get a handle on what is happening.

  5. #5dozr2020-07-29 08:50

yes sir that is what dealer is saying ,they also say to get valve block have to order one for 400, they also say they have tore valves apart does not look like anything wrong with them but put valve on them they go back to work.

I guess what you are saying then is the dealer is telling you that the pilot reducing valve that is bolted to the back of the main control valve is bad and that you need and whole new one.

  9. #9John C.2020-08-07 19:34

yes just dont make them like dash 5 anymore will let you know, machine only had little over 5000 hrs my dash 5 has 11000,

why would anybody not clean out hyd system after fixing problem on a machine, just plain stupid or just sorry. my luck it would not work long as it took to fix.

Sounds like they should remove the $400 mistake and credit you for the hours to change it. If your pilot pressure is dropping off, I'd be placing gauged t fittings from self pressure reducing valve, to safety solenoid and from there, out towards the joysticks and pedals. Gauge your pilot manifold under the cab. See where it's getting lost.
