Looking to switch out the factory radio with a newer one, obviously. It will be a different brand radio. Do they make adapters to plug into the loader harness similar to the ones by Scoche for regular vehicles? Or will I have to butt connect the corresponding wires? Any chance they have a wiring diagram or color codes available? Appreciate any help!
I'm not aware of any adapter harness connectors for the radioes. On the older Komatsu machines the radios were all 24 volt. Voltage converters are easy to get if you have to go that route for a consumer version of sound system. For a schematic that someone on here might be able to provide, you would need to post the complete model number, including the dash number plus the serial number of the machine. A service manual would provide a schematic that can tell you of the type of connectors to install on the wiring for a new radio.
