I haven’t used this dozer in a few weeks and had the battery disconnect switch turned off, when I turned it back on and started the dozer I’m getting a LO4 CA1117 engine system abnormal code, can anyone give me some insight on what this code means? Everything seems to run fine.
Im having the same issue on my W470 Loader. Left a message with the Rep in our area. The rep says it is from shutting the master off before the DEF is purged. Ours has a green light that indicates it is in purging mode,
Start the machine, let it run 10 minutes and shut it off. DO NOT SHUT OFF THE MASTER SWITCH! Watch the ligh by the battery switch, wait till it goes out, then you can shut off the master. This error logs from improper shut off/shut down. The above procedure will clear it.
