Machine was running fine, started it the next morning and let it warm up, went to move the machine and nothing, won't go forward or backward. All oil levels are good. Checked for pressure up to joystick and there is none. Any suggestions? Seems like it is likely something simple since it WAS just working fine. No slipping, no issues.
My d31p-18 goes into fwd immediately when cold but it has to be either warmed up a while or high rpm to engage reverse the first time each day. I dont know the cause but have you tried full throttle?
Yup full, half, low, and everywhere in between lol
Just an update, it ended being the transmission suction screen, removed it, ordered a new screen. cleaned out the housing and reinstalled with fresh oil and everything works as it should now.
Was your screen behind a cover with an external pipe down under the driveshaft yoke on front of the trans?Did you have to drain the trans to pull the screen?
Yes, on the left side of the Trans housing if you were sitting in the seat. Yes when you pull that screen it's all gonna come shooting out. Best bet is just to drain it all, clean the car to eliminate it happening again and go back with fresh 30W, it took just under 5 gallons.
