We have a D41E that has lost all blade function and the hydraulic system is overheating. I believe it to be the unload valve in the first bank of all the control valves. I am having trouble finding any part minus just buying the whole control valve for 6k. does anyone have any insights of where i could purchase a new unload valve or at least a seal kit for each bank?
O rings get a kit or go to the dealer and hunt. Valves, always can be done at a machine shop.
If you have the parts book in the back end of the book they breakdown the valves into parts
You can try reaching out to local or regional dealers/distributors for the brand (or even salvage yards that deal in used heavy‑equipment parts) — they might have leftover “guts” from old valves (valve bodies, spools, seals) at a fraction of the cost.
