Anybody done a rebuild on a komatsu D85e-12 on the torque and transmission before, the book is somewhat vague about the removal and rebuild on those components, do they drop out the bottom of the dozer or come out the top? We only have some of the shielding off and are trying to figure out what the book is saying how to go about it, we were thinking the torque went out the bottom, and also the transission, but it doesn't really say exactly. Once out is there a secret to the rebuilds on those components or is it pretty straight foreward, I've never done a komatsu before and its old enough most places I call don't have anyone that knows much about that model of dozer. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
